Ensuring Health Care for Nebraska Families

Expanding Medicaid in Nebraska would let 90,000 of our hard-working friends and neighbors finally get the health care they need.

Where We Stand

Insure The Good Life wants Nebraskans to decide their health care futures at the polls on November 6th, 2018. Lawmakers in Lincoln and Washington, D.C., have not solved this problem, but voters like you can choose a healthier future to protect hard-working Nebraskans.

Medicaid expansion would cover 90,000 hard-working Nebraskans. They work at jobs that come without health care coverage and earn less than $17,000 a year. These are Nebraskans living across the state in both rural and urban areas in jobs in restaurants and shops, in home health care, on construction sites, on farms and ranches, and more.

Initiative 427 will be on the ballot thanks to more than 135,000 Nebraskans from every county in the state who signed a petition. The campaign is happening now. Get involved today and help us ensure the Good Life for all Nebraskans by voting For 427.

Our Priorities

Make Medicaid available to people who are paid less than $17,000 a year.

Expand Medicaid for over two-thirds of hard-working Nebraskans whose jobs don’t come with health coverage.

Bring $600 million from Washington back to Nebraska.

Sustain 10,000 jobs.
